I was excited to find scribbr and more than happy to pay the price for it to be checked thoroughly. However, my main incentive for checking was because the free version flagged my essay up as highly plagiarised. This led me to purchasing, which I would have done regardless without the scare, and then to find my essay was 5% plagiarised. Which to majority of universities is a very low score, in which they can check where your sources are from. I wouldn’t use this website again, as it felt like a scam after using the free version. Without the scare, I would have said it’s worth it to see the score and grammar.
