The RIG 700 Ballistic hydration pack from Geigerrig is as tough as they come. It features a heavy duty ballistic nylon pack, capable of withstanding the most extreme conditions. It has the carrying capacity for your day hike gear and a 70 oz. engine (reservoir) to keep you hydrated. The pack is made from heavy duty 1680 ballistic nylon with heavy duty coil zippers. Includes shoulder straps with an adjustable sliding chest strap. The waist strap is removable, so if you don't need it you can quickly remove it. Like any good pack, the RIG 700 has an i-Pod ready compartment. The Geigerrig represents the next big leap in portable hydration system performance! There are many differences, but the pivotal difference is in how your liquid is delivered. Traditional hydration packs require the user to suck to drink water, but the Geigerrig utilizes a simple, yet brilliant pressurized set-up that sprays the water. The only effort required to get a drink is lightly pinching the bite valve with your fingers or teeth. It's a seemingly small difference until you consider how much more your hydration pack can do for you.
The core of the the Geigerrig is the Hydration Engine, which is a 2-chamber bladder of reservoir; one chamber is filled with your water or liquid while the other chamber is pressurized with air using the Power Bulb, which also has a depressurization button. The Geigerrig has simple, reliable quick-release valves to quickly disconnect you tubes from the Engine (bladder). The Geigerrig bladder has a wide-mouth opening and slide top closure. Another impressive feature of the Hydration Engine is that it's reversible (for drying out) and it's also dishwasher safe! Specifications
